A place to make a day of it.
The Creative Garden is a shared creative and retail space in Minneapolis. Paint a project, build a terrarium, follow a child’s curiosity, discover a book, or bring your people together. You don’t have to choose one kind of creative.
Different roots. A shared home.
Paint Playground, Roots & Bloom, and Expanding Minds / Watch Me Grow bring art, plant knowledge, and hands-on learning into one Garden. Our experiences overlap on purpose: a planted seed becomes a science discovery, a story inspires a painting, and a handmade pot becomes a home for something green.
Curiosity is something we grow, too.
Expanding Minds / Watch Me Grow brings Montessori-inspired learning into the heart of the Garden: independence, practical life skills, sensory discovery, and the freedom to learn by doing. Children can explore color, texture, nature, and stories through meaningful hands-on experiences.
Learning isn’t tucked into a separate corner. It connects everything here—caring for a plant, making something with your hands, sharing a book, and discovering what you can do for yourself.

Beginners, experienced makers, curious kids, readers, plant people, families, clubs, and creative entrepreneurs all have a place in this story. Have an idea for a workshop, a collaboration, or a group project? We’d love to hear it.
